Who We Are

Take It or Leave It! was founded in 2003 by Gary Haymes, with partners Mark Gross and Michael Mann.

Originally an eBay, auction based, business, Take It or Leave It opened its first permanent consignment store in January 2005.

Gary Haymes:
President

After years of sales experience in an array of fields, in 1990 Gary found his passion in antiques, starting with art pottery & glass, American furniture and cookie jars. 

Since 1992 Gary has been an antique dealer and on-line auctioneer working at auctions, fairs and antique shows throughout the mid-Atlantic.  He?s a member of the National Auctioneers Association.

Gary hails from Ashland, VA just north of Richmond. He has a B.A. in Finance from Wofford College in South Carolina.

Christina Grim:
Recent graduate from University of Maryland with a bachelor's in Criminology and Criminal Justice she does not know how she ended up in this field of work but enjoys it. :-)

Willie Doyle:
Indicted but never convicted, frequent flier in the witness protection program now known by the name ?Willie Doyle'.  Has an extensive background in art, music and animal husbandry.  Loves long walks on the beach and Greco-Roman wrestling.  But most of all, he loves spending time working here!

Richard F. Holloway:
The old man  of the store, with over thirty years of retail experience, is never understood. Speaks way too much Yiddish for a goy. Has a good eye for the aesthetic and way too much advice for the young.
